Principal's Corner

Welcome to Webster County Schools!

It is an honor to serve as principal of a school that means so much to me, not simply as an educator and administrator, but as someone who believes deeply in our students, our families, and our community. Webster County may be a small school system, but I firmly believe that small schools can have a big impact.

Our goal is simple: every student, every day, deserves an opportunity to succeed. Success may look different for every student. For some, it may be preparing for college. For others, it may be entering the workforce, earning an industry credential, serving in the military, competing on the athletic field, developing a talent, or simply discovering something they are passionate about. Whatever their path, our responsibility is to help them find it—and give them the skills, confidence, and support to follow it.

At Webster County, we believe education extends far beyond the classroom. Our students have opportunities to participate in athletics, fine arts, CTAE programs, FBLA, FFA, esports, dual enrollment, career experiences, and countless other activities that help prepare them for life after high school. We want our students to graduate not only with a diploma, but with purpose, character, confidence, and a plan for their future.

I also believe strongly in the power of relationships. Students need adults who know their names, believe in their potential, challenge them when necessary, and celebrate their successes. Our teachers and staff work hard every day to build those relationships and provide our students with the best opportunities possible.

As a school community, we will continue to hold high expectations while providing the support our students need to meet them. We will celebrate our successes, learn from our challenges, and continually look for ways to improve. Most importantly, we will never lose sight of the reason we are here: our students.

To our parents and community—thank you for trusting us with your children and for supporting Webster County Schools. A successful school cannot operate in isolation. It takes teachers, staff, parents, families, coaches, community members, and business partners working together toward a common goal.

To our students—believe in yourself, work hard, make good choices, and never be afraid to dream bigger than you think you can. Your circumstances do not determine your future. The choices you make, the effort you give, and the people you surround yourself with will help shape the person you become.

And finally, to the faculty and staff of Webster County Schools: thank you for showing up every day and giving your best to our students. What you do matters. The impact you have may not always be visible immediately, but the lives you influence will carry your work far beyond the walls of our school.

Together, we will continue building a school where students are known, valued, challenged, supported, and prepared for whatever comes next.

I am proud to be a Webster County Bobcat, and I am excited about what we will accomplish together.
